i didnt post this sooner since im pretty tired of looking at this poster. so i had to make this poster into a digital poster so i decided to ask my friend jesse to take a picture of my poster so i can make it into a digital poster. THANKS JESSE!

its a book for teens and "tweens" to help build their confidence since they come from an unfortunate background. or they could have just lost someone very important to them.

Anthropologie poster process complete!

this is what i did one 1 night. did i sleep? maybe 15 minutes. after my maybe 15 min i had to drive to class to show this poster. yay.

so i added the birds i did and i did not like how they were disappearing into the bg. so....

i added a bg.

here is my line up for birds.

i didnt like the bg.

so i added ink lines on top of the bg. it looked much better. also i added more birds.

just a few more.

YES! FINISHED.

close up of hand painted font. i really wish i didnt run out of space for the words. but thats what i get for doing all of this in 1 night.

am i happy with it? hmmmmmmm

so even though my feelings about it is a disappointing "maybe"...i still think it was a good experience since i never work this huge. props to me for "positive thinking".

so now ive been drawing different bugs with gouache on bond that i inked. im going to glue on the bugs on the poster and hopefully itll come out more then good. *fingers crossed*

im terrified of cicadas. but anyone that knows me well knows im fascinated with things im terrified of so i had to draw this bug. i dont know why i didnt include a roach.

here is a mantis. i LOVE mantids so i had to include one. they are bad ass.
